Vanderbilt will showcase strength in cloud-based solutions at IFSEC 2017

IFSEC International kicks off this week in London and visitors are urged to visit stand E1225 for a demonstration of Vanderbilt’s strength in cloud-based security solutions.

Vanderbilt’s recent acquisition of Irish-based company ACT has added a cloud-based access control and video management solution, ACT365, to its arsenal. In addition to SPC Connect, ACT365 gives extra force to Vanderbilt’s cloud-based products, a technology that is gaining momentum in the security industry as customers become more comfortable with its services.

Both solutions harness the power, scalability, and simplicity of the cloud to deliver new features and time and money saving benefits for installers and end users alike. The cloud gives installers the ability to set up, manage, and maintain large networked security systems remotely. End users benefit from a system that can be maintained more efficiently and easily reconfigured as their requirements change.

For instance, ACT365 is a cloud-based access control and video management solution. If there is somebody at your site entrance, you can verify the person and open the door - all from your smartphone. If an incident occurs at a door, ACT365 allows you to simply click on the access control event “Door Forced” to locate and review recorded footage of the incident occurring.

SPC Connect is an intrusion detection system that leverages connectivity with scalability and flexibility, all of which are critical to today’s end users.
