Technology and Training: Two Key Concepts for Vanderbilt at ISC West 2020

For many of us across the United States, the ISC West Conference and Expo signals the start of spring, which could not be more welcome at this point of the winter — especially as the show takes place a couple weeks earlier this year, providing a warm escape from the cold and snow. Vanderbilt is looking forward to taking in the sunshine in Las Vegas on March 18-20 at the Sands Expo with partners and colleagues from around the industry.

At booth #5065, Vanderbilt will display its award-winning ACT365 cloud-based access control and video management solution, which delivers seamless integration between access control and video management accessible from anywhere, at any time and on any device. ACT365 is a scalable solution that allows organizations to quickly update or remove user permissions, view cameras or open a door from a PC, tablet or smartphone.

The latest updates to the ACT365 platform will be showcased at the show, which further demonstrate the ability of ACT365 to provide a comprehensive and reliable security solution for users looking to protect people and property. The feature and software enhancements include lockdown functionality, twin users support, whitelist card support and more.

The Vanderbilt Security Management System (SMS) will also be highlighted at the booth. SMS delivers a powerful, single source solution for integrating a facility’s access control technologies, digital video and alarm monitoring systems. SMS is perfect for large, multi-site or global organizations, as it supports an unlimited number of cardholders and readers and provides unparalleled flexibility.

Furthermore, attendees at ISC West can view the Vanderbilt Video Management System at booth #5065, which features a newly designed user interface that simplifies video management. Vanderbilt provides a versatile line of NVRs and software-only solutions that support IP, analog or hybrid environments with high resolution cameras. The system can be used as a standalone solution or integrated with the Vanderbilt SMS access control system for increased security.

Additionally, Vanderbilt’s Training Manager Bill Nussman will join other ACRE brands, Open Options and RS2 Technologies, for a panel discussion during ISC West on Tuesday, March 17, at 9:45 a.m. PDT. The session, “Building a Focus on Customer Service and Training,” will explore the importance of a manufacturer creating a robust training program to help users leverage its technology to the fullest. The presentation will cover three key points:

  • Defining the key characteristics of a comprehensive training program for both integrators and end users.
  • Identifying the pain points of customers or integrators when learning a new system.
  • The methods that can be used to develop and execute a training program that serves a variety of audiences.

If you’re interested in learning more about how Vanderbilt’s focus on agility, adaptability and dependability can help your organization enhance security with innovative technology solutions, make sure to stop by booth #5065 at ISC West 2020 or schedule a meeting with the team now.
