The threat of Card Cloning and how using the latest industry standards can best protect against it. How emerging technologies, such as biometrics and mobile credentials, are changing the way consumers interact with security systems.

Michael Byrden has over twenty years’ experience in manufacturing electronic security equipment. Working as commercial director at Ireland based Access Control Technology (ACT), he worked extensively with specifiers and integrators on significant capital projects at home and internationally. Since the acquisition of ACT by Vanderbilt Industries in 2017, he spent two years as Region Manager for UK & Ireland before taking up his current role as Strategic Partnership Manager. He holds an M.Sc. in International Business from Trinity College, Dublin.
